Standing Rib or Prime Rib
Be careful, you can date yourself with this one! Used to be the standing rib roast was at the center of the holiday table. It was during the Industrial Revolution the standardization for cuts of beef was developed. The primal rib area was most definitely the preferred. Thus, the name prime rib.
